Hi there! I’m Kimberly Baumann and welcome to Simply Sassafras.
I started this blog in 2015 to give our family and friends a way to follow our adventures as we uprooted our family and moved 1000 miles across the country. For years we’d been looking for an opportunity to change the pace of our lives and one day my husband Steve had a job opportunity present itself. After a lot of discussion and with the consent from our two kids, we took a leap of faith and here we are!
