It’s been almost a month since they started working on the addition so I though it was time for an update!
Last I blogged they had finished putting up the foundation walls.
Then came the cap and eventually the framing.
We had rented a lift to finish painting the garage so I went up about 50 feet and took some shots.
The roof was next and it was a little tricky to fit below the existing window so they built the trusses onsite.
It really is taking shape!
And finally the shingles!
This is how we sit today, October 11, 2016.
We did finish painting the garage the weekend before last and we decided the first coat we did of Simply White by Benjamin Moore was a bit too bright so we painted the second coat with White Dove also by Benjamin Moore. I did keep the trim Simply White and on cloudy days you can see a subtle difference.
I hope more work will be done this week, haven’t heard from the crew but that’s how it goes.
Next should be windows on the addition or the porch construction.

I am super excited to see them in.
